In 2016, the release of Pokémon GO popularized AR, while VR gained momentum with devices like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

Uses: Experience design in virtual and augmented reality is used in various fields, including education, where it enables immersive simulations; entertainment, through video games and interactive experiences; medicine, for training healthcare professionals; and marketing, where brands create unique experiences to engage consumers.
