Bayer Filter

Description: The Bayer Filter is a color filter array that organizes RGB (Red, Green, Blue) filters in a square grid of photosensors. In a typical image sensor that uses a Bayer Filter, a greater proportion of the photosensors are dedicated to green, as the human eye is more sensitive to this wavelength. The interpolation process, known as demosaicing, is subsequently used to reconstruct the complete image from the data captured by the sensors, allowing for color images to be obtained from luminance and chrominance information.
